The big wet arrived last night. Thunder and lightning rumbled about all night and it rained - for the first time ( I understand), since April. So it's cooler today - though still in the 30's.
Today we catch the Ghan to Adelaide. We have been to a local cafe for breakfast, have packed and need to be outside the hotel at 8.10 (or 8.20 or 8.30 - we keep being told different times!). So will be down early, not that we really need to worry, they are good at making sure you don't get lost down here.

We've just boarded - this looks fun, we have a lovely cabin, very cosy but seems to have everything we need.
We are booked for a tour in Katherine this afternoon ...... Now need to find the bar!!!
